Last weekend, April 17-18, half of our PE 2 - Camping class went to Pundaquit, Zambales to have our first level camp (though we really were supposed to be at Mount Banahaw). It was fun fun!
But basically this is the last part of the post (hahaha) so I'll reserve the stories for the continuations.
Apparently, we were in a beach. The sand was composed of very diverse grains. I had a bad toe afterwards, plus orange stains on my shoes and slippers.
Jose Bimbao's Nikon D3000 DSLR, being an object of photography by me and Ron, while we were arguing which was better between the Automatic and the Cloudy filter. For this one, I submitted to Ron's choice of Cloudy.
Our last meal, which was lunch, was HEAVEN. Here's ensaladang mangga na may alamang (green mango salad with shrimp paste).
Here's itlog na maalat na may kamatis (salted eggs with tomatoes).
Fried eggplants next. I wasn't able to post here a photo of the main dish, the adobong liempo. It was sinful yet heavenly. Guess who ate the pork fats. :)
Now here's the afterlunch bumming at the cottage of Pao and Daisy's group (which was, apparently, not the designated group I belonged to).
And here's a little boring view outside the compound of Jara.
Here's Ron, in his usual lazy sit and Vino down there.
And here's a failed attempt to shoot inside the van while stuck in traffic at the NLEx.
I still have to camp next weekend. It better be good again!
