High School no more.

Look at where I was again yesterday.

Definitely gonna be another favorite, eh?

Before I was so used to calling him Arn-arn or simply Arnulfo. Now I'm used to calling him Pata. :)

Marikit here. One of my long-time friends. My favorite high school confidant. We talk on the phone for hours.

I bought the shirt she's wearing. I almost got lost in Greenhills Shopping Center for that.

She took this photo, by the way.

Good thing she wasn't caught off guard.

Allan bought her a Zinger Meal.

You better know what she's using it with to eat it.

O sige. Alamin mo mamaya. :)

Allan's there (left).

And I promised to treat these two this Christmas season.

You guessed it? Kitch used spoon and fork to eat the burger! Not bad, though. But the story behind it was so so hilarious.

What's with the spoon?

Finishing off the meal.

I want to repeat this day again!

Unusual You.

I'll be true. I'll be useful. I'll be your cavalier.

I'll be yours my dear.

Damn. I'm not in love right now. Seriously. I just fell out of it lately. I can't sing the usual songs nor write the usual posts. Falling out of love has made me somehow unusual.

I knew it. I wasn't enough.

It was as short as a moment.

I knew I was never enough for you. Yet I'm still not over it.

This time I still don't understand why. Yes, it has been too long already.

Don't worry. I'll forget about it. Soon.

Volunteer Work on Thursday

Event: Volunteering (Survey) at Brgy. Bagong Silangan

Location: Daza Hall,
C. P. Garcia St.,
Barangay U.P. Campus,
Diliman,
Quezon City,
and
Barangay Bagong Silangan,
Quezon City

Date: 01 October 2009

Talk about volunteering, my friends and I dared to last Thursday.
From the Church of the Risen Lord (where the University Student Council were doing the volunteer work a.k.a. packing), we were instructed to go to the Barangay Hall of Brgy. UP Campus, to help out there because we were idle. We thought we were to do the packing, but then, lo and behold, we were transported to Brgy. Bagong Silangan, to check out the families affected by the Typhoon Ondoy (International Name: Ketsana).

We were fun-looking, in the first place.

And I love the way I look. Haha.

Here are the other volunteers. And oh, Ranel doesn't have any photo here, I think, just because he's the one holding the camera.

Geez. Look at that.

I can spot the refrigerator.

In this photograph the place doesn't seem much affected, but if we had captured the court with the coffins, perhaps you'll have the idea.

It was all too crappy, literally.

Trash just looked like some piece of decoration here.

And we could have covered our noses. Mud here is "burak" (mud mixed with garbage).

We were en route to Sitio Bakal, a community too far to be reached by volunteers giving donations.

Colleen and I looked tired. You haven't seen our feet yet.

But still, we're happy to be volunteers.

Aren't we?
