I knew it. I wasn't enough.

It was as short as a moment.

I knew I was never enough for you. Yet I'm still not over it.

This time I still don't understand why. Yes, it has been too long already.

Don't worry. I'll forget about it. Soon.

Volunteer Work on Thursday

Event: Volunteering (Survey) at Brgy. Bagong Silangan

Location: Daza Hall,
C. P. Garcia St.,
Barangay U.P. Campus,
Diliman,
Quezon City,
and
Barangay Bagong Silangan,
Quezon City

Date: 01 October 2009

Talk about volunteering, my friends and I dared to last Thursday.
From the Church of the Risen Lord (where the University Student Council were doing the volunteer work a.k.a. packing), we were instructed to go to the Barangay Hall of Brgy. UP Campus, to help out there because we were idle. We thought we were to do the packing, but then, lo and behold, we were transported to Brgy. Bagong Silangan, to check out the families affected by the Typhoon Ondoy (International Name: Ketsana).

We were fun-looking, in the first place.

And I love the way I look. Haha.

Here are the other volunteers. And oh, Ranel doesn't have any photo here, I think, just because he's the one holding the camera.

Geez. Look at that.

I can spot the refrigerator.

In this photograph the place doesn't seem much affected, but if we had captured the court with the coffins, perhaps you'll have the idea.

It was all too crappy, literally.

Trash just looked like some piece of decoration here.

And we could have covered our noses. Mud here is "burak" (mud mixed with garbage).

We were en route to Sitio Bakal, a community too far to be reached by volunteers giving donations.

Colleen and I looked tired. You haven't seen our feet yet.

But still, we're happy to be volunteers.

Aren't we?

No.

I wish I had not seen.

I wish I could only have felt it.

Turn your heads down.

Today you'll never be a simple piece of paper.

You'll stand out among others.

I shall call you 'origami'.

Endless rain into a paper cup

Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass

They slip away across the universe

It's time to fall.

I swore I'd never fall again.

But this don't even feel like falling.

Sunday, September 6, 2009

I've got a feeling.

"You felt that too?"

"Yes, yes I did. I felt that I love you."

Let's talk about biology, than this.

Still we can't get over

with what our forefathers

- no, they weren't even our forefathers at all -
had created.

It's a long pause.

It only hurts
the more I pretend;

to have you near
would be a mistake.

Preoccupied.

We've been to busy

Doing nothing all the time.

*I have been idle these days, blog-wise. I've got a lot to say, to blog about, but I just don't feel like doing so. I'm currently semi-depressed. Or maybe I just am overwhelmed by the vast number of things that I must do and yet I've done nothing. It's hard to start, especially when you don't know where to start. It's hard. I'm having a hard time living this life.

Lesser than fields of green.

Is there a reason why
rain only falls on your head?

It just doesn't seem right
at all.

[I still don't get it. Why do my photos keep on going back to their wrong rotations?]

Monday, August 3, 2009

That grey feeling.

We both know that there is something wrong

but we keep on ignoring it...

until it destroys us both.

When it rains, we want ice!

It's a storm, or at least just some stubborn rain.

When it rains, I want some ice cream. No, I want more ice cream.

And I'm craving for Dairy Queen's Blizzard, that cup of soft ice cream served upside down. Aww. I want some!

We'll get scared for a while.

We have more mistakes to make

so there's no point in repeating the same mistakes again.

When it all falls down.

Hey, talk isn't cheap.

I need.

Let's close this chapter,

Say one last prayer,

But don't say that you love me.

I'm still breathing.

Say something funny.
Say something sweet.

But don't say that you love me.

[Feeling good; feeling in love - again. I just hope that it won't hit me hard on the head again. Not now. Not yet. I'm enjoying the blow of the wind.]

Ignorance

I've said this a million times
before...

and I'm saying it.

Friday, July 3, 2009

Leap.

Look up at the sky.
Get ready to fly.

We'll be holding on to nothing until what forever can reach.

Bishop and pawns

We've been staying still for too long.

Isn't it now time to make a move?
